The Home Depot Foundation Invests $9 Million to End Veteran Homelessness

The Home Depot Foundation has committed over $9 million to provide housing for more than 3,400 veterans battling homelessness. This investment is part of the foundation's ongoing commitment to supporting veterans and their families.

The investment will:

  • Provide housing for more than 3,400 veterans
  • Help veterans access housing, healthcare, and other services
  • Support programs that help veterans find permanent housing

"We are proud to support the brave men and women who have served our country," said Shannon Gerber, executive director of The Home Depot Foundation. "This investment will help them find a place to call home and the support they need to succeed."

The Home Depot Foundation has a long history of supporting veterans. In 2021, the foundation donated $10 million to the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans to support its work to end veteran homelessness.
