Croatia 4-5 Spain: Carvajal wins Nations League for Spain on penalties
Spain beat Croatia on penalties to win the 2023 Nations League final in Rotterdam.
Spain had taken the lead through Pablo Sarabia, but Croatia's Andrej Kramaric equalized to send the game to extra time.
Neither side could find a winner in extra time, so the game went to penalties. Spain won the shootout 5-4, with Dani Carvajal scoring the winning penalty.
The win gives Spain their first Nations League title, and their first major trophy since the 2012 European Championship.
